Im trying to install the custom greeting mod and the edit I need to make is on the index.template.php file but I cant find the required code to do this, would you be able to give me a hand?

This is the change it says needs to be made

But I was wondering if its possible to move the profile field to here

In my forum I have lots of sub forums which I dont like the look of so I would like to find a way to get rid of them, everything I have tried so far has failed.

So if anyone has the answer please could I have the exact code to make it as simple as possible for me
