I have SMF 2.0 RC5 installed. And it happens when you haven't singed in yet and after you sign in.  I even posted a test topic after I updated the code.  I have no idea whats wrong.

wierd, how do the normal code edits work for you?

Yeah I know... it is weird.  The normal code edits don't work.  Oh well, I'm just gonna turn the Recent Topic block into something else.  Cuz I have no idea what the problem is.  Thank you for your help.

You should make it default, so other people dont have problems! I have mine saying "Sorry, no new Threads" and have it centered. "http://www.forum.hostellroleplay.net/index.php"

edit: just remembered that i can not since the featured work area uses a database call :(

I can not add those edits as a default because smf does not allow code like that in a theme..
